SMS Opt-In Policy

1. Program Description
The Long Island Rehab Helpline SMS program sends text messages to people who have requested help finding addiction treatment, recovery support, or related resources. Messages may include callback confirmations, treatment resource information, appointment reminders, and replies to questions you have sent us.
2. Consent Language
When you submit a form on this site that includes a phone number and SMS consent checkbox, you will see the following statement:
By checking this box, you consent to receive SMS messages from Long Island Rehab Helpline at the number provided. Message frequency varies. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out, HELP for help. Consent is not a condition of purchase.
Consent is never required to receive services, information, or care.
3. Message Frequency
Message frequency varies based on your interaction with us. Most users receive only transactional messages tied to a specific request, typically four (4) messages or fewer per month.

Message and data rates may apply. Check with your mobile carrier for details about your specific plan.
5. Opt-Out Instructions
You can cancel the SMS service at any time. Reply STOP to any message you receive from us. After you send STOP, we will send a one-time confirmation message and you will not receive further texts unless you opt in again.

7. Supported Carriers
The program is available on most major U.S. carriers, including AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile, Sprint, U.S. Cellular, Boost Mobile, MetroPCS, Cricket, and Virgin Mobile.
Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
8. Privacy
We do not sell, rent, or share mobile phone numbers with third parties for marketing purposes. Mobile information is used only to deliver the messages you have requested. Mobile information will not be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties for marketing purposes.

9. Eligibility
The SMS program is intended for U.S. residents who are at least 18 years of age and who own or are the authorized user of the mobile device associated with the phone number provided.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this SMS Opt-In Policy from time to time. The effective date at the top of this page reflects the most recent update. Continued participation in the program after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
