Sober Living Placement & Referrals — Long Island

A free service that helps individuals in recovery find sober housing across Nassau and Suffolk counties.

Sober living placement is a coordination service — not a treatment program. If you or a family member has completed detox or treatment, is between programs, or is looking for structured recovery housing on Long Island, we can help narrow the list of appropriate residences and coordinate the next step.

How placement works

1. Brief needs assessment. Location preference (Nassau vs. Suffolk, transit or work proximity), MAT status, gender-specific vs. co-ed, budget, and any court or program requirements.

2. Verify availability and terms. Confirm current openings, monthly fee, deposit, house rules, and drug-testing policy in writing with each candidate residence before you commit.

3. Coordinate with outpatient care. If you're continuing IOP, outpatient counseling, or MAT, we help time the move-in so treatment continues without a gap.

We do not run sober residences and we don't accept payment from residences for referrals. Everything about how sober living works — costs, house rules, NARR support levels, MAT policies, women's residences, non-12-step options, how to evaluate a home — is in our full guide. Read it before you call so the conversation is faster and more useful.
